Giveaway: "The Summer Before the Storm" and "Elusive Dawn" by Gabriele Wills

In April 2010 I read and loved The Summer Before the Storm by Gabriele Wills, the first book in her Muskoka series (which was also named a "Muskoka Chautauqua Reading List Winner" for 2010). Yesterday I reviewed the second book in the series, Elusive Dawn, which was also a winner for me. The series is historical fiction with a Canadian angle, and both books are highly enjoyable. I finished reading them and came out with a much better understanding of the time period, the class divisions present, and yes, the horrific effects of The Great War. I can't wait for the third and the final book in the series to come out so that I can find out what happens to all of the characters that I have grown to adore!

Gabriele Wills has kindly offered one of you the chance to experience her novels firsthand, and she has generously offered to give one winner, located anywhere, a copy of both The Summer Before the Storm and Elusive Dawn.

  4. I wrote an article for a travel magazine on the Muskoka area strictly based on research. I won a prize which was a trip to Muskoka but couldn't get away from far off B.C. at the time. I always felt bad about missing it. Moskoka,
