Review: A Mystery Hair Care Product from L'Oreal Canada!

I'll admit it- as a busy working mother of three young boys, my beauty routine is often short, sweet, and to the point. Despite the fact that I would love to be able to fit more time into my schedule to take care of my hair, I often find myself reaching for whatever kid's shampoo products are in the shower. As a result my hair does not usually look its best. Add to that the fact that I flat iron my hair a few times a week and the end result isn't pretty.

I was thrilled when Influenster qualified me for a mystery hair product testing program! The idea behind the program is this: L'Oreal Canada, a manufacturer of over 25 global beauty brands, is releasing a new product line. The line is so secret, however, that even the testers don't know what brand it is! The testers have each received an unbranded sample of the shampoo, conditioner, and a split-ends serum to try for a week, at which point the testers will receive full-sized, branded products. All that the testers know is that the product is specially formulated to repair hair's strength by 90%from root to tip, as well as prevent further damage.

I received my mystery box last week and I couldn't wait to try the new products. I've tried them four times each and I can say that I love them! Since I usually throw my hair back in a ponytail during the work week I wasn't expecting to notice the difference so quickly, but I have! My hair feels much softer and smoother, especially with the addition of the split-ends serum. Although I am loving the shampoo and the conditioner, I feel that the serum is improving my hair the most. You apply it to towel-dried hair and leave it in to work its magic. I flat-ironed my hair on the weekend and usually when I do that I have a lot of problems with flyaways, but I noticed the difference there as well.

Even though I don't know exactly which product this is yet, I'm excited to find out! It has made such a difference to my damaged hair in a short period of time, and I think that I will keep seeing a difference as I continue to use the product. I've also learned my lesson- no more using my kid's shampoo!

Just for in case you missed it earlier I want to make it clear that I received this product as a result of being a member of the Influenster team! I do not receive monetary compensation for reviewing these products and my opinions of the products that I test and review are honest and completely my own!
