Review: "Cupidity" by Holly Hepburn

"What if Cupid fell out of love with love?

Cupid is exhausted. Modern day matchmaking is tough – people are busy, their hearts are harder to hit and he’s had enough of wall-to-wall romance. And St Valentine has noticed…

Annelise is a Lost Cause. She runs a dating agency but her heart is colder than a penguin’s feet. She thinks love is about compatibility and has no time for passion.

Can Cupid prove to St Valentine that he hasn’t lost his touch by melting Annelise’s heart? Or is it curtains for Cupid?"

I thoroughly enjoyed this novella and I can't stop raving about it! It had all of the elements that I enjoy most when choosing a story to read: it was well-written and flowed beautifully, I quickly came to love the characters, the plot was creative, and I enjoyed the romantic aspects of the story. Author Hepburn even manages to throw some humour in there for good measure!

I devoured Cupidity in one sitting and my only complaint is that Hepburn has not yet written a full-length book for me to read! The novella was a great length for a short story but it left me wanting to read more by her and I can't wait to see what she will come out with next! My thanks to the author for providing me with a review copy.
